Coronation Street star Samia Smith shows off toned post-baby body

Back in shape: Samia shows off her toned post-baby body, left, after following a self-devised health regime and, right, during her pregnancy

Samia Smith slips into a pink bikini as she shows off her toned post-baby body in a revealing photoshoot.

The Coronation Street actress gave birth to baby Freya last October and regained her figure three months after giving birth with a self-devised health regime.

The 5ft 2in star gained 2st while pregnant with Freya, but is now back to 7st 7lb, which is a healthy weight for her height.

Samia, 27, has been married to property developer Matt, 34, for five years.

Speaking to Closer, Samia, who is a slim size eight, insists she eats a balanced diet and says she's maintained her weight by healthy eating, walking and Pilates.

'I love my flat tummy,' she said. 'But my boobs have all but disappeared!'

The soap star, who plays Maria Connor, gave birth just four months after her character gave birth to baby Liam in typically dramatic soap fashion on a beach.

In the run up to her real birth, Samia had to hide her expanding bump on-screen with cupboard doors, baggy clothes and cushions.

The actress and her property developer husband announced they were expecting in April last year, just days after her father Joseph Ghadie lost his battle with cancer.

Samia's real-life pregnancy and her two on-screen pregnancies meant she has spent most of the past two years with a baby bump - both real and faux.
