Baby weight: Christina Milian has been quick to shed the pounds after giving birth to baby Violet in February
Like any new mother, Christina Milian is eager to get back into pre-baby shape.
And as these new photos show, she is certainly achieving her goal.
The 28-year-old was seen working out in a park in Woodland Hills, California with her best friend Loran.
Split: The R&B singer has broken up with husband The-Dream
She wore an electric blue cat suit with tiny shorts for a jog and some stretching exercises.
The tight-fitting outfit showed off a figure that would turn most women who recently gave birth green with envy.
Perhaps more importantly for her, it showed Christina's estranged husband exactly what he is missing.
Shock: It has been revealed that the couple filed for divorce on February 17, nine days before the birth of their daughter
Stretch: Christina, 28, shows off her enviable post-baby figure
It has been a rollercoaster year for the R&B singer, first giving birth to daughter Violet Madison Nash on February 26.
Then news became public last week that she had split from her husband of ten months, Grammy-winning producer The-Dream.
Photographs showed him on an intimate Caribbean holiday with his assistant.
However the images may not have come as much of a shock to Milian as originally thought.
TMZ are today reporting that The-Dream, real name Terius Hagert Youngdell Nash, actually filed divorce papers nine days before the birth of the couple's first child.
The website has posted images of documents they say were filed in Georgia, and carry a date stamp of February 17, 2010.
The-Dream states in the documents that the marriage is 'irretrievably broken', and that 'there is no hope for reconciliation'.
Divorced: Court documents obtained by TMZ are dated February 17, 2010
Happier times: Christina and estranged husband The-Dream in 2009
The R&B mogul wrote an emotional letter on his website last week after the split went public, telling how he tried to commit suicide when he realised his relationship was ending.
He wrote, ‘I’ve cried about this for months, after interviews, after prayer and I've tried to take my own life at a point because of the failure that was looming'.
The-Dream also apologised for not telling fans earlier about the break-up.
'I take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for misleading everyone into thinking everything was fine and okay when we knew problems existed for awhile! I wanted to speak up but we decided it wasn't for anyone to know'.
Meanwhile Christina has been forced to defend herself against friends of her The-Dream who have been bullying her on Twitter.
Bullied: The singer has had to defend herself on Twitter after friends of her estranged husband posted offensive messages.
She entered into a slanging match with radio DJ Funkmaster Flex last week after he posted 'Christina Milian is Finished out here….Dream just wrapped you up….'
The singer hit back hit back at the 41-year-old.
She tweeted: '@funkmasterflex when will u just leave me alone and get a life?
'I swear all uve ever done is pick on me. What’s ur problem dude? Go away.'
Mother and child: Daughter Violet brings the singer plenty of joy
